The Story
Bamenda made him. Atlanta raised him. King Fobi is a Cameroonian-born, Atlanta-raised rapper and producer who builds his records from the ground up — beat, hook, and verse. He started the way a lot of greats did: as a teenager in the house with his brothers, making beats and hooks out of nothing, learning the craft by doing it.
That early run became his first EP, Mind, Body & Soul, released on SoundCloud around 2015 — raw, self-made, and already carrying the message that still defines him: freedom starts in your own mind.
By day, he works as a data analyst at Microsoft — a lane the press dubbed the “Black man in tech.” By night, he's in the studio producing his own records. Most people pick one life. He never did.
Not either.
See me for who I am becoming, not as I am.
